PACKAGE DETAILS

Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Pick up from hotel in Arusha or airport and drive to Tarangire National Park for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. I t forms the centre of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25, 000 wildebeest and 30, 000 zebras. The Tarangire River which is the lif e blood of this national park ensures a year round supply of water and the river beds takes centre stage when animals gather to get this rare commodity resulting into magnificent wildlife actions when the predators try to grab a meal taking advantage of the moment. Later in the afternoon you will drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park

Drive to the Serengeti National Park in the morning after breakfast at your lodge. We will be crossing the Ngorongoro Conservation. Then proceed with game drives slowly through stunning wide open spaces that make Serengeti unforgettable as we head to the lodge for tonight’s overnight.
Attention: Please note, that should you travel between the beginning of January and mid- March, also you will stay in Serengeti National Park but closer to the border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the Ndutu Area.
Staying at a camp in the Ndutu Area during this time increases your chancesof seeing the famous migration as the herds can either be on the Serengeti or Ngorongoro side.

Day 3: I n Serengeti National Park

Today we have a full day of exploring wildlif e around Serengeti which is the ideal location for marveling at the annual migration of large herds of animalsat this time of the year. The Serengeti’s endless plains provide an exceptional landscape for wildlife viewing; it truly is ultimate safari country. Of ten spotted in the Serengeti are elephants, hippos, lions, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, leopardsand more.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

after breakfast, we drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority. We then go down the crater floor where we spend some hours exploring the floor of the crater. Lunch will be taking at a designated picnic site near a hippo pool after wards, continue with game drives. You can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Arusha/ mto wambu

after breakfast we explore the colorful town of Mto Wambu for some last minute pictures and curio shopping. afterwards we head to Arusha where the tour will end at the airport for your flight back home or for another heading trip.
